We all love to communicate and chat and share stuff, but like any type of interaction, there has to be some guidelines that must be followed. Because of this, and because of this unfortunate era of information has spawned internet trolls, we need to have rules. So, make sure you read this before you start posting in the Cbox and make us ALL extremely happy.
1.) Pick a SINGLE username name to register and use in the Cbox. We all love to play around with our names and such, but we ask that you PLEASE register only a single name for you to utilize as your Username so that, if you have multiple characters, that you can be identified.
2.) We ask that your username NOT be a canon hero’s name, even if you play them. If, for whatever reason, you decide to stop playing Wolverine, it would be unfortunate if your Cbox username were Wolverine and you played someone else. It would just cause confusion. Please back sure that your username is one that you find unique and identifies you, for example, Freckle-Fart works! But you may have other ideas.
Just keep it clean.3.) Please, please, please do not constantly try to switch your username or make puns out of it, whatever. The occasional joke is fine but if it becomes a habit, you will receive a warning from the Staff. We really don’t want to cause any confusion.
4.) For your Cbox avatar pictures, please do not use animated gifs. They can be an annoyance and slow things down so please be respectful and not use them.
5.) No In-Character interaction is allowed in the cbox and have those count as canon. This Cbox is for communication, fun, and killing time. Please do not attempt to have serious character interactions within the Cbox, it is for Out-Of-Character interaction only.
6.) Speaking of Out-Of-Character interaction, the biggest thing we request is that people respect one another. What this means is NO FLAMING and NO DRAMA and NO ARGUING. Any behavior deemed intolerable by the Marvel Multiverse staff will NOT BE TOLERATED and can result in your being banned from the Cbox and even the site itself. We are all here to have fun but we please ask you to not air out your dirty laundry, troll other players, or over all be a nuisance. If a staff member, or even a player, asks for a change in topic, then do so if they are uncomfortable with the topic. Ignorance of this will simply will not be tolerated.
7.) Language and Sexual material will not be tolerated either. Please, no swearing, no racial slurs, and not obscene language. We consider our cbox to have more of a TEEN RATING so we ask that you please respect that. If you are caught using overly explicit language (trust us, we read the backlogs when we aren’t around) it can too result in you being banned.
8.) Spamming is a no-no. We really try to not have people most too many times in a row as this can lead information to be pushed out of the Cbox and can be a huge distraction. So, we ask that players only post in the Cbox 3-times in a row. Any more than that can lead to the Cbox automatically banning you and, if a staff member isn't around, guess what, your stuck until it wears off. So please, watch it.
9.) Please do not advertise other sites in the Cbox. If you come from another site and are seeking affiliation or advertising, then please do so in the Advertisement Board and nowhere else.
10.) App Review / Arguing with Staff is a big no-no here. After your application is posted, please do not prod members of the staff to review it so that you can be accepted quicker (we have lives and do get busy on occasion), and DO NOT ask other members of the site to read it and give you feedback. Secondly, if you have a problem with any Staff members or something with the site, DO NOT argue with Staff or Members in the Cbox. That is not the place for it. 11.) Last, but not least, JUST HAVE FUN! This is a place for fun, not seriousness and angry. We are all just here to have a good time.
