This is just some quick notes about avatars, signatures, and how they should be utilized. Make sure you read these instructions first before you begin to upload your material:
AVATARS
1.) Avatars MUST be of a real celebrity from film, television, modeling, or musician. At this time we are not allowing YouTube stars or other internet celebrities.
2.) Comic book images of your character can be used if you so choose. Just make sure that it is the correct character from your dimensional choice.
3.) NO Anime and/or Manga images may be used for character (yes, even Marvel Mangaverse is not allowed, sorry). No offense to Anime fans but we ask that you please respect this rule.
4.) Please NO Animated gifs for your main avatar. They can be a bit distracting and slow down the site. If you want to use animated gifs, you can in your MINI-PROFILE only and the maximum size is 200x100.
5.) In order to use the maximum size for your avatar, make sure to Host it on another site such as TinyPic.com or Photobucket.com. If you upload to the Proboards site, it will force it into 150x150 parameters.
6.) The maximum size for avatars is 220 x 350:
SIGNATURES
1.) Please keep signatures tasteful. That’s mean no nudity or extremely graphic violence. Let’s keep things clean.
2.) Please NO animated gifs for your signature.
3.) Once you have a signature, please make sure to link your application to it. Just use the code below in siguature section of your profile (remove all *’s before saving):
