VAMPIRE GAMBIT
Greetings wayward mortals. You have stumbled upon the plot page of none other than a particular Ragin' Cajun of the sanguinary persuasion. While his personality at its core doesn't differ much from his mainstream counterpart as a flirtatious thief and southern gentleman - you can rest assured this Gambit from Earth-1298 has a darker and more sordid origin to him. If you are interested in exploring that then you may read about him more from his profile page or even post in this thread for plotting purposes. Monsieur LeBeau will be pleased to make....... your acquaintance.
Friends // Allies:
Remy was formerly working with the Six, a splinter group of that dimension's X-Men. His vampire sire there was none other than Bloodstorm/Ororo Monroe. He also had a respect for Magneto and entrusted the safety of his foster daughter Raven to him and his X-Men. In addition Remy had a tense but profitable business relationship with Mr. Sinister. Formerly before its downfall after a SHIELD attack, Remy was the leader of the Unified Guilds of Thieves and Assassins.
Ever since leaving his homeworld however Gambit has been stranded in New York City and so far unable to return home for months now. For the most part he has been studying about his alternate selves from other dimensions. Lately he has begun impersonating his mainstream counterpart and several others for his own safety and interests. Generally he understands that his destiny across time and space is for him to be affiliated with the X-Men in some capacity despite his care-free tendencies and loner attitude. Therefore he may consider AU X-Men as possible friends and allies on a case to case basis and he may even be up for forming a team with them if that already hasn't occurred. Also due to his incomplete knowledge of other worlds he might also mistakenly view some villains as good guys and vice versa.
Enemies:
He's a vampire and a mutant. That won't make him welcome in many circles or most dimensions for that matter. Also given the fact that he's an anti-hero with criminal tendencies on top of it all (such as thieving) he may irk some goody-two shoes. Also he does tend to leave a lot of heartbroken women in his wake. Lastly - all the villains/enemies of the Six such as SHIELD, Dracula, and etc. from his home dimension would be his too. Due to his incomplete knowledge of other worlds he might also mistakenly view some villains as good guys and vice versa.
Lovers:
Well this is a tricky situation for Gambit. In his home dimension he was a widower in recent years and formerly happily married when his former love was still alive. Nevertheless its probably time for him to move on. He's certainly a ladies man and flirt but generally he doesn't let people get too close to him in terms of long-term relationships due to the fear he can't protect them or they'll reject him due to his undead nature. However maybe just maybe he'll risk it all someday for one special girl that can make him desire more than just her blood...
